You have some really great tips for boarding your dog. I recently moved to a new city and needed to find a good dog boarding kennel for my two dogs. I found a great one through word of mouth and reviews online, but I really like the background on how to prepare your dog by taking them first for short periods of time to the kennel so they get accustomed to it. I did that before I started with the new kennel, and not only did it reduce my dogs stress it also reduced my stress because I really made sure the kennel was good by gauging my dogs reaction to it after their short stay. I agree in using positive reinforcement for training your dog. One other peice of advice for people is you can use part of the kibble for training. Train before the dog eats breakfast or dinner and use half for training, then they can eat the other half. That way, you don’t have to worry about a dog gaining weight, and you can save the treats for when you are training your dog around high distractions.

i love this dog. It takes time before you will successfully train your dog. So, spend much vacant time with him.

I read someplace that MIT researchers have concluded after some reseach that animals do dream. The definition of a dream would be different for animals as well. And of course unlike humans who can speak about their dreams, we can not ask an animal to relate their dream.

Some good advice there but the most imprtant thing is to spend time and remember that it takes a while to train your dog, also, not to give up at the first hurdle.
